Dr. Safarov was originally born in Russia where she spent 11 years studying and pursuing her dream of being a classical pianist, where she won in a national competition for young pianists at the age of 16. Along with her family, she immigrated to Brooklyn, New York in 1999 and earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Pace University in 2002. After graduation, she worked at the investment bank of Morgan Stanley until 2009, when she left to pursue her career in dentistry. She was supported by her close family ties and influenced by her family’s long history in the medical profession.

Dr. Safarov attended Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Glendale Arizona and earned her (D.M.D.) Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2013. She moved back to the New York area shortly thereafter to be closer to her family and begin her dental career. Dr. Safarov completed her residency at Stony Brook University Hospital in June of 2014.

Dr. Safarov has attended numerous continuing education courses in implant, cosmetic, Invisalign and comprehensive dentistry so that she can provide the most advanced dental care.

Dr Safarov received the 2019 Fellowship award from the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD). The Fellowship award is presented to dentists who seek to provide the highest quality of dental care by remaining current in their profession. Dr. Safarov completed over 500 hours of continuing dental education, passed a comprehensive exam and fulfilled three years of continuous membership in the AGD.

Dr. Safarov was recognized as an Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AFAAID) in 2022. As one of the few dentists who hold this distinguished award, Dr. Safarov is one of the leading experts in implant care.

Dr. Inessa Safarov is Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology (ABOI). This is the next superior level as a dental implant surgeon. The Diplomat status symbolizes that the doctor has distinguished herself to be committed to the highest level of competence in the field implant dentistry and surgery.

Dr. Inessa Safarov is one of the pioneer trainers of the PDO threads in North America. She traveled to Europe to receive her PDO threads and microcannula sculpting hands-on training from the most renowned surgeons from Italy and France. Dr. Safarov is also a participant in the IMCAS (International Master Course on Aging Science) Annual World Congress where she continues to explore the latest trends and innovations in the facial aesthetics field and implement them in her practice. She has also been a trainer for AIAM since 2014 and is certified in cosmetic and therapeutic neuromodulators and dermal filler injections since 2013.
